DHWANI JOSHI

Hi guys! My name is Dhwani Joshi (DJ) and am currently working towards a Bachelor degree with a major in English & minor in Sociology. I like to keep myself busy and am involved in many different activities in my life such as dancing, athletics, photography, writing, acting, etc. I enjoy volunteering and have had my share of experiences volunteering for different organizations. I hope to bring my teaching desire to good use through Teachico Tutoring's platform!
Fun fact: I've auditioned for Adrian R'Mante AKA Esteban and got to spend a week in LA for an acting workshop!

Hello! I'm Neel, a third year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Calgary. Some of my hobbies are photography, building projects, sports and tutoring. I like to keep myself busy by always trying to learn skills.
Fun fact: I really love to run. I ran the Calgary half-marathon!
NAZIM BOUDJADA

Hi there! My name is Nazim and I am Ph.D. student in physics at the University of Toronto. Since I was in high school, I have always enjoyed teaching and tutoring others. I find it very rewarding to be able to help a student understand something they had trouble with, or better yet, get them passionate about a given subject! I am myself still having a great time learning new physics, math and programming which I use on a daily basis in my own research! Outside the science world, I enjoy biking, hanging out with friends, listening to podcasts, and learning about other fields.

My name is Matt, I've been working as a registered nurse for 4 years and I'm currently completing a masters of medical science in immunology at the University of Calgary. I am passionate about medicine, health, and matters of social equality and justice. Education has always been important to me, and I hope to pass that love of learning to others.

Hello! My name is Anirudh. I have a BSc and MSc in Geology from the University of Calgary. I was a Teaching Assistant for three years at the U of C and found that to be an extremely rewarding experience. I am passionate about science and using scientific tools for problem solving.
Fun fact: I spent a month camping in the Canadian Arctic.

Hello! My name is Nousheen and I have a B.Sc. Zoology and a M.Sc. Philosophy in Zoology Masters degree in Zoology. I am very passionate about education and love to help others become the best learner they can be. I also enjoy research, and have four published journal articles!

Hi! My name is Donna and I am a retired Chemical Engineer. I worked in the Oil and Gas sector for over 25 years and have been thoroughly enjoying retirement. I had several mentors along the way and appreciate giving back and helping others through tutoring.
I am originally from New England and have made Calgary my home now for over 30 years.
Fun Fact: I like water sports, including surfing.
My name is Shiza Amer and I am currently an undergraduate student in my 3rd year of Psychology at Mount Royal University. Some of my hobbies include watching movies, travelling, and baking! I love tutoring because I believe it makes the biggest difference in a student's life, whether that be a better grade or a new friend, especially during a pandemic where many students are online, it's nice to have someone to ask for help or simply talk to.

Hello! My name is Shilpa. I am a doctor by profession.
I have always been passionate about teaching as I grew up observing my mother teaching students at a local school. I feel teaching field is very rewarding as it motivates me to learn something new and to achieve a higher goal every day.Being a mother of a six years old, I absolutely adore spending time with young kids. I cherish reading them books and I enjoy playing games with them.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading, and photography! I’m really passionate about empowering more young women to pursue an education in STEM fields and minimizing the gender disparity in these careers.
